PTA Message

Hello Mills Mountain Lions!

 

This next week, we join AISD and many other schools across the country in celebrating National Teacher and Health Team Appreciation Week! They teach our children the skills they need to know how to succeed academically and scholastically, but just as important, they show our children that they each have a splendor, a power, and courage inside of them.  This is reflected in how our children transform daily, with more confidence, compassion and enthusiasm for life and learning… so, it’s our turn now. Please remember to show your teacher how extraordinary they are and let’s not forget about our special area staff and heath team too! THANK YOU to all the parent volunteers who have stepped up to offer their valuable time to allow their teachers a break away from the school with their colleagues - I know they really appreciate it! The PTA Staff Appreciation Committee will have special treats throughout the week, enjoy Mills staff!

The PTA is an arena to discuss school and student needs and identify together how to address those needs. These committees provide services and programs that support the growth of education, cultural awareness, art, music, physical fitness, school projects and parent education. Our success is based on the strength and dedication of its volunteers and members.
