Here are some EASY ways you can contribute to help keep Mills GRRRREAT!!

Mills Elementary is part of some amazing and very lucrative programs where we can earn FREE MONEY for our school!

Box Tops, Amazon Associates and Smiles Programs, Randall’s Good Neighbor Program, Office Depot Give Back to Schools, Tyson Project A+, and TerraCycle are fundraisers that do not require you to go door to door, collect money or deliver products.

Simply clip Box Tops or Tyson Project A+ from the packages of products that you already purchase for your family and turn them into your child’s teacher or the front office anytime of the school year.

Last year we earned $3500! Let’s shoot to make our new goal $5000 this year!

The money from this campaign has gone towards procuring a new Kinder playscape, workroom supplies for teachers and funding for Roaring Readers.  Plus, many more programs that help all of our children.

Be on the lookout for a Box Tops collection sheets in the online weekly folder and facebook page or you may download online here. In the meantime, see our list below for participating items and coupons that help us earn!

Box Tops for Education # 434951

Box Tops are easy money for Mills – we receive money for EACH valid box top. The “Box Tops for Education” program, sponsored by General Mills, is a program that allows our school to earn funds by having our families clip and redeem the voucher off the product that we would normally buy anyway. Simply clip the Box Tops cleanly along the dotted lines, being careful not to cut off the expiration date, and turn them in to your child’s teacher or turn them in to the front office collection bin throughout the year.

Please bundle them in QTY’s of 50, if possible … with your child’s name, teacher’s name written on the front and QTY being submitted in a ziplock baggie.  Please separate from other non-box top labels.  Please NO EXPIRED Box Tops.

For a list of qualifying products visit http://www.boxtops4education.com/earn/participating-products.

Earn Bonus box tops, periodically, by signing up online.

Tyson Project A+

The Tyson Project A+™ program is one of the simplest ways to support your school. Just clip and redeem Tyson Project A+ labels from packages of Tyson® products. For every label we receive, we’ll give your school 24¢ – and your school can use the money for whatever it needs.  Simply clip the Tyson Project A+ labels cleanly along the dotted lines and turn them in to your child’s teacher or turn them in to the front office collection bin throughout the year.  Please bundle them, if possible … with your child’s name, teacher’s name written on the front and QTY being submitted in a ziplock baggie.  Please separate from other non-Tyson labels.

TerraCycle® and Clif Bar

Know What to Clip

For Box Tops, we need the pink “Official Coupon.” The official coupon will contain an expiration date, which you should include. Sometimes the Box Top logo will appear elsewhere on the product, but only the official coupon can be redeemed.

Box Tops appear on General Mills cereal boxes, Fruit Roll-Ups, Nature Valley granola bars, some Kleenex boxes, and a host of other products (click here for a list of participating products). Clip the pink Box Tops “official coupon,” including the expiration date. Expired Box Tops cannot be submitted.

When submitting your Box Tops Official Coupons, please keep in mind the following:

  • Attach the Box Tops Official Coupons to a collection sheet
  • Label the sheet, envelope, or bag with your child’s name, teacher’s name, grade and QTY
  • Trim the Box Top Official Coupon as much as possible
  • Make sure the Box Top is not expired
  • Include the total quantity being submitted

These steps will help to ensure that your child’s classroom gets proper credit.

TerraCycle® and Clif Bar, we need foil-lined energy bar wrappers; foil-lined granola bar wrappers; foil-lined meal replacement bar wrappers; foil-lined protein bar wrappers; foil-lined diet bar wrappers; Clif Bar & Co. wrappers from Clif Bars, Luna Bars, MOJO, Builders, Crunch, Clif Kid Z-Bar, Kits Organic, Clif Kid Z-Fruit, Shot Bloks, Shot Gels, and Shot Drinks; pouches from Clif Organic Energy Food

In order to recycle this waste stream properly, please make sure all excess product has been removed (i.e. large crumbs). Additionally, if you choose to rinse your product, please note that it must be completely dry prior to shipping. You cannot ship dripping packages.
