Show Your Voice...” is the theme for the 2022-2023 Reflections Arts Program. This amazing program increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education. Reflections encourages students of all ages to:

Unleash creative talents and be inspired

Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork

Experience the fun and joy of making art

Tap into critical-thinking skills to create art inspired by the annual theme Receive positive recognition for their original works of art.

ENTRY DEADLINE is November 4th.                                                                              Entries can be dropped off in the school office

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

  • Step 1: Make sure a parent or guardian is a current member of PTA.                (That means this calender year 2022) JOIN HERE                                                         *Being a member is a one time fee of $10.61.                                                 NO PTA PARTICIPATION is required past the annual fee.
  • Step 2: Choose which category you would like to take part in                      (You may choose as many of the categories as you wish)
  • Step 3: READ THE RULES (Especially Page 2)
  • Step 4: Make Sure Every ENTRY has an Entry Form (Page 4)

All students preK-5th grade are invited to participate and submit original artwork in one of six areas:

Dance/choreography 

Literature 

Photography 

Film production 

Music composition 

Visual arts 

*IMPORTANT*

A well-developed concept is more important than technique!

Entries will be judged primarily on how well the student uses his or her artistic vision to portray the theme. Many times, the artist statement will make a huge dif erence during judging because this is where the artist can explain in their own words, their thoughts and feelings for their piece.

NOTE: Students may enter multiple areas of competition with each completed entry form submitted.

Artwork is divided into divisions:

Primary: preK-2

Intermediate: 3rd-5th
